Google+ is the fastest website to reach 25 million users
And it’s growing at around 1 million users per day, Reuters’ Alistair Barr reports.
In contrast, it took Facebook about three years to attract 25 million visitors, while Twitter took just over 30 months, according to comScore.
Perhaps, but Google+ also had the benefit of Facebook and Twitter becoming popular before it. (And Google’s massive popularity, itself.) Without those pioneering services — and Friendster and MySpace, too — far fewer people would have any idea what Google+ is all about. (I still haven’t figured out what I’m supposed to be using it for.)
